Helped my grandsons hair soft and less tangled.we both really like the product.
Saw an ad for Young King before my son was born. He just started getting hang time, so I was trying to keep it braided but I kept running into scalp irritation from the gels I was using to secure the braids. Red, flaky, dry, irritated, a few bumps. I tried to wash it and use a natural oil, but within 2 days his hair was back to being flaky. In my search for gentle black boy hair products, I came across YK again and immediately purchased because I’d already remembered seeing the ad and also- it’s incredibly hard to find boys hair care products! Everything smells incredible and works great! The oil is the star of the show! So many amazing oils in one! After the very first use, my son hasn’t had an irritated scalp since. It’s been 2-3 weeks so far, and I’ve only applied the oil to his scalp 3 times so far- still not one flake. It is very natural smelling and a tad potent, I will give a heads up- but it’s basically scalp medicine in a bottle.

Originally purchased one bottle for my young king with kinky hair, but I found it works great on a middle-aged queen’s hair as well. I came back to purchase the 3-pack. This product leaves my coily hair moisturized and defined with a very light hold that I prefer. I get compliments on my curls often. On the kinky hair texture it works best when hair is freshly washed and conditioned.
I use these products for my toddler boy.. It’s the ONLY product that allows her curls to SHINE AND POP! Much GRATITUDE FOR THE CREATION OF THESE… 🥰
I use these products on my son's hair daily. Makes his morning hair routine quick and easy. They have a nice smell and are very light on his hair. His curls look awesome every day and he really loves how his hair looks.

Works well for my boy toddlers - when the hair dries it is not as moisturizing as I’d like to see it but I do like how it curls the hair .

Purchased the styling and wash bundle for my 8 yr old son to add hydration, keep hair moisturized throughout the day and define his curls. The product smells good, packaging nice, young king toiletry bag a plus, but the product did not deliver on the need. His hair remains dry and curls are not defined at all. I’ve tried different arrangements of application and nothing works.
Finally found products that keep my hair moisturized in all climates throughout the year!
