I had ordered Young King Conditioner and was sent the Curling Cream which I also love but needed the conditioner. Customer service fixed the problem promptly which I greatly appreciated. This product is great on my son’s hair. It has made training his hair much easier.
I purchased the smallest size of shampoo and conditioner as well as the pomade. I love these products. It moisturizes my son’s hair and scalp which was an issue with other products we have tried in the past. Will be purchasing the larger size shampoo and conditioner.

My oldest uses the Loc scalp oil. He wears twists and love the smell and it doesn't make his scalp feel to oily. My youngest uses the curling cream he has curly hair. Love that it has Shea butter and other natural ingredients. Love that it's vegan and plant based.

Saw an ad for Young King before my son was born. He just started getting hang time, so I was trying to keep it braided but I kept running into scalp irritation from the gels I was using to secure the braids. Red, flaky, dry, irritated, a few bumps. I tried to wash it and use a natural oil, but within 2 days his hair was back to being flaky. In my search for gentle black boy hair products, I came across YK again and immediately purchased because I’d already remembered seeing the ad and also- it’s incredibly hard to find boys hair care products! Everything smells incredible and works great! The oil is the star of the show! So many amazing oils in one! After the very first use, my son hasn’t had an irritated scalp since. It’s been 2-3 weeks so far, and I’ve only applied the oil to his scalp 3 times so far- still not one flake. It is very natural smelling and a tad potent, I will give a heads up- but it’s basically scalp medicine in a bottle.
